I just checked my QFF account and realised that a QF Restaurants booking that I had made back in September, finally posted (I had forgotten about it after 6 weeks, so happy for the points posting)

Whilst I had booked for 8, only 5 of us showed, so correct number of points.

All restaurant points have posted for me. Generally between 4-8 weeks after the points show up. Pretty handy for a couple hundred points here and there.
 
I generally get most restaurant bookings posted within 4-6 weeks.
I have had in the past an experience where after having attended and the staff having acknowledged the booking, that the booking has been directly cancelled by the restaurant (that time it was a week after having attended) and as such the points weren't posted. There wasn't a clear guideline of what to do in that case.

But mostly good, I usually forget that I had been to those places and made the bookings, so the extra points are nice!
 
Haven't booked any in a while. But every Perth glory game we visit the Brisbane Hotel booked through Qantas restaurants.
. Every other one from last season posted within 4-6 weeks.

I'll keep an eye out for a booking this Saturday.
 
I've used this dozens and dozens of times. I booked my team lunches weekly for a while doing this. Good little earner. I can't say I have any idea as to the accuracy because I did it too frequently and the delay in posting...but worth about 10K points a year for me...

Don't forget during your birthday month they tend to double it to 200 points per diner.
 
In my limited experince, points earned in one month will post mid to late the next month giving 3-7 weeks.
 
I've used QF Restaurants to book > 100 times with no issues. Points generally post on the lower end of a 4-6 week range most of the time.
 
I've done a flurry of bookings recently, from late September until one made this week for tomorrow. I haven't received any points yet, including from September, which based on past experience should have been in early October or early November. What timeframe are people seeing now?

This would all be much, much easier if Qantas actually had a page where you could see your bookings and track their progress. Dimmi can do it, and it's their underlying technology.

Not really related, but you can now see your Qantas Online Mall purchases in a list now. Good to see if some shops haven't paid out the points too.

Completely agree - QF are replete with technology for everything else.

29 October is also when points were posted for my booking on 8 September...
 
So perhaps there are weekly (or regular) sweeps for points to accounts - that would make sense.

My QF restaurant booking points have always posted without issue within 4 to 6 weeks. I always diarise them for 6 weeks (as a backup reminder) and they come in during the 4 to 5 weeks window. I agree it is probably a sweep done each month and the variation may depend on when during the month the booking occurs and when the restaurant is required to confirm that it was honoured and by how many people.
 
Several of my favoured restaurants in Canberra qualify. Trouble is we rarely book and I don't always remember to do so via Qantas when when we do. But points have almost always posted for me within 3 weeks. From memory, my separate P1 bonus (double points) post on the same day but as a separate item. On my statement the bonus points are back-dated to the day of the booking, which is weird.
