Qantas Red Planet

Seems automatic; I did survey about 2200h, then logged into redplanet and saw first two surveys at zero, third at 300 points. I then looked at QF app but nothing there, but points appeared sometime between 2200h and 0700h today.

Just completed my third survey ( 300 points earning) which took approx 10 mins to complete.
From what I can gather Red Planet sends these surveys out in waves as opposed to one email blast.

Did mine on Saturday pointsn showed straight away in red Planet but no points transferred into QFF account as of 8.36 am this morning. Wonder how some who only completed last night have received points already?

I got the third survey email on Saturday at 1.37pm but only just did it - took me 11 minutes, ticking boxes isn't particularly time consuming - but I did add a comment that there were questions where I wouldn't have willingly answered any of the responses as an "other" box would have been more appropriate.

Logging back into my Red Planet account shows the points are in there and I expect they'll transfer within 24 hours (from evidence here).

Not sure that there is evidence that points have been posted to QFF accounts within 24 hours. It is only coriander's experience by the look of it. Correct me if I am wrong please. Others have said that the points are in the RedPlanet account but are not showing in QFF yet. My view is that they will batch credit at a particular time - maybe each month or even less frequently, like some of the other point earning programs.

I'm another who got the 3rd survey last night (Sunday).

I did it straight away and the 300 points were in the RedPlanet account immediately after - but were not in my QF account when I just checked now.

I'm not really fussed if they end up taking a month - so long at they do post and the time frame is consistent

Indeed you are correct love_the_life, I humbly ask your forgiveness at my youthful exuberance, which was misplaced

I've had my third survey and received the 300 points instantly in my Red Planet account. I have to say though, the survey was incredibly slow to load each page. I nearly gave up!!

Nothing had appeared in my QF account when I checked at 9.30am this morning. I did the survey yesterday afternoon.

Joined and the things they're asking are quite personal. I wonder if they have retained the right to 'sell on' your data to other companies/marketing research companies?

Are surveys not supposed to be anonymous?

I believe there may have been an option to permit transfer of identity info. With an opt out. My recent BA surveys certainly had this option.

I suspect that Qantas and QFF have no mis-understanding of my sentiments on service levels in Perth. It's hard to (dis)like service levels when there is no service.

Happy wandering

Fred

I only just joined/signed up yestreday.

DId the two surveys back to back - awaiting on the 3rd.

I am wondering if they are using the people who signed up to the draw about having the family goals for frequent flyer points spend?

I suspect that the person who said they are doing this to use what they find ok (ie x number of our ff would like to go on a cruise) as way to target people/customers who might sign up to the program.

A little bit of fun for the T&C's enthusiasts out there...
I've noticed (what appears to be) a typo in the Red Planet Prize Draw T&C's - at https://redplanet.qor.com.au/haveyoursay-terms.aspx

Refer to clause 5, dot point 4 - I suspect that the Eligible Entry time window for Draw 4 is meant to start on 1 Feb 2016, not 1 Feb 2015 as is written...

Hardly earth shattering, but potentially a little embarrasing for the work experience kid tasked with the proof-reading.
