Qantas online Mall, cookies and points

I've made a purchase from DJ's today through the online mall, and I'm using Microsoft Edge as the browser with no add-ons. Have previously used the same browser to buy off ebay and booktopia, and received the QF email within a few hours of the purchase. Its exceeded those times with this latest DJ's purchase and there is no email from QF yet..bit like the two times I purchased from the Microsoft Store.

I'm beginning to wonder, if there is any relation to being logged out of the QFPOINTS site and the issues with the cookies not being recognised. I noted this time with the DJ purchase, once I closed down the DJs TAB that I had been logged out from the QF site.
 
I also noticed that my Qantas notification emails were going to my junk folder.
Might be worth checking for others who have not received the emails.
 
The turnaround for these e-mails can be anywhere between a few hours and a couple of days.

And in some form of QF poetic justice, the confirmation email has arrived for the DJ purchase. So thats my above theory out the window..

I noticed that I had been logged out, but I refreshed the screen and when it came back I was still logged in.

I think it is not logical / transparent that QANTAS - does not have a side link on their website for this , as I am certain there are enough people concerned about where their points earned & / bonus points - are - and if they are missing on the statement, then there should be a sufficient system be in place , to support each enquiry - claim .

- I received my basic points plus a % of the bonus points only after 30 days of purchase.

My question is - where / how do I enquire about this. ( I mean really ? Is there anyone in this forum that can give guidance ?)

Why can't it be straight forward?
if it's advertised as double bonus miles I expect double the miles.
If it's 4 X miles, where are they , when can I expect to see the, in my account so I can plan with them.
The whole idea of having bonus partners is good to boost up miles
but if you have to chase them up, it is wasted time and frustration,
refelcting bad on the people who run this ' rewards scheme'

That's because they look at every problem with the Mall as if it were the only one, making the customer fight every step of the way, instead of accepting that it's a systemic issue and addressing it properly.
 
I just received points for a purchase which was 30 days ago to the date. I made the purchase at DJs, via the mall and received the email immediately afterwards. I only received the standard 5 points/$ and I will be keeping an eye on my account for the bonus 5/$ in the coming 8 weeks. Seems like a ridiculous process of waiting.
 
I bought through the Mall at DJs in November and again in December. In the past I have been rather smug as my points have always posted - this time the November ones (due 11 Dec) are nowhere to be seen :evil:. Have sent an email with the confirmations attached but still no joy. Not impressed this time. I suppose it's only a couple of 000 points but every bit helps.
 
We did a big purchase from Qantas Online Mall/Appliances online 8,500 of the total 23,500 points arrived within few days, called Q to find out where are the rest, they said it could take up to 6 weeks, why we got what we did, we and they had no idea as they didn't equate to either of the items bought :(

So why do they say that points will be posted within 30 days, although you did get some rather random it would seem points posted (so one up on me this time). QF inconsistency reigns supreme again.
 
Having the same issues paying for some overpriced Dom Perigon champagne suppose to get 10K points not there yet!

They say up to 6 weeks, yes your correct "QF inconsistency reigns supreme again" :(
 
Sounds exactly the same as me - bought from DJ 10th November and still no points. Sent an email and have had no response yet.

Call them and ask them to investigate the matter and then follow-up with an email. Ask the consultant to make notes about your case when you are on the phone and make your own notes so you can dispute any inaccurate information.

I have received my STANDARD points for ebay purchases made during the double points promo in late nov/early dec. I have not yet received the 'double' points. Does anybody know if those points usually get credited in a separate batch later?
 
I've received about half my points from the Q Mall yet do not correlate to either of my purchases, this is just another points mess, why cant they get it right??

Same issue for me. I have just fired off an email so will see what happens. On the plus side though they did seem to credit me standard points for the purchase price PRIOR to 20% off code being applied.
