Qantas new A330 seat maps revealed

Pretty much standard 2-2-2 seating for all intents and purposes. Not sure if it's one of those JQ converted ones that are 2-3-2 with the middle block in all but the first row, where 2D has extra room.

That's my guess.

Looks like that is the case, thought they might have been releasing it early.

Which it cannot possibly be, for the new seat map will show rows of seats configured 1-2-1. And the new aircraft only has 28 Business seats - the map you have there has too many.

All of this assumes that QF's IT is competent, and let's just leave it at that!

I've got a QF J trip booked to SIN at the end of January. When I booked the aircraft was a -300, just noticed it's changed to a -200. I know my chances of ending up on a reconfigured bird are slim to none, but I'm still crossing fingers...
Seat map is showing the current 2-2-2 layout still as you'd expect.

- If anyone has any feedback on which seats are good/bad in the rear half of the cabin that'd be great- the front cabin is blocked due to my current lack of QF status I suspect... -

I have the choice of row 23AB or 24JK on a new config 330-300 Mel-Sin, any ideas what is the best Y seats in the back of the bus. Have UG in for J but you always gotta be prepared to fly in the class you paid for.

QF wanted extra money for the 23 AB seats (WP no charge) but not the 24JK. I am therefore presuming there is more legroom, however probably colder and more traffic on the AB side.

Any advice?

From my experience the room to the bulkhead feels a bit better than the old config but if you are taller than 5'10 you won't be able to stretch your legs out fully in row 23

Hi all.

I've just booked BNE-PER flights for the family and will be calling QF to get the bassinet seats allocated for us. The outbound flight is showing as the new config :) but can anyone who has flown tell me if 1A (bassinet) lines up with with 1E or 2E? The seat map seems to imply that 1E is much further forward.

Might we be better of with 1A and 2A since 2A would give Mrs_O a bit of privacy to feed the bub and then she can hand him off to me to put in the bassinet at 1A?

TIA.

I guess you are implying that J class will be a "fantastic product". Perhaps, based on Qantas' current poor offerings, but not in comparison with other major airlines.

There's nothing new in Y apart from less leg room. That's fine, but you've picked a poor airline to promote. Next time, why not try Air New Zealand?

Having flown them now I believe it is their best product.

Does anyone have any updated perspectives on this? Have exact same question as spruce for a Syd-hkg leg in November on a refurbed a333.
