I'm on a late night CX flight from BKK on the weekend and was hoping to avoid the CX lounge!

Does anyone know what time the QF Lounge closes on Sunday nights? Is it after the Qantas departure or does it stay open later (not sure if it's kept open for emirates or not)

Qantas website says the lounge closes at 21:00 on sundays!

Ah thanks. Didn't even think to check that. I had it in my mind for some reason it said "last departure".

Tickets issued by QF and it should have my QFF details. OneWorld sapphire should be ok to use any Oneworld lounge on a CX flight

Also, EK have their own lounge at BKK, so it would not be important for QF to keep their (QF) lounge open past 9pm.
    Re: status, noted.
Maybe when I retire, am in my mid 40s, I will make it a point to get out to BKK.
Am a cleaning contractor, so a lot of my time is spent, er, cleaning. No rest for the wicked.
100% of my travel is either domestically, or over to NZ, or to SIN.
Anyway, ok, enough of my waffle.

Not missing anything at the QF lounge in BKK. What is astounding to me is that the first class lounge is worse than the business class lounge.

Has the EK lounge reopened? I was at the QF lounge two weeks ago and it was open until 2am daily while the EK lounge was being renovated.

What's on your BP is to a large extent irrelevant, so long as you have a card or J/ F BP entry will be granted when flying marketed/operated CX.

No, flew out of there Saturday night and at EK check-in they said it was still closed and not likely to open until next month.

Great thanks for that. Hopefully that'll keep Qantas open until my 11pm departure in that case.

Are there still 2 QFLounges? One First and Business and co-branded QF/BA or did BA take one like they did in SIN have have 2 separate lounges? I haven't been to BKK since 2012.

    Same thing happened as SIN.

BA took the First Lounge space
QF took the Business Lounge space (and is currently sharing it with EK as their lounge is being renovated)

No changes to either the BA or QF lounges sans signage.

CX has two lounges though which I thought was strange, one around the corner from the other and not differentiated by F or J class.

smaller, looked and felt older, more worn out. Even though I was entitled to go in there I preferred to go to the business lounge instead.

went in the QF lounge last month - boy has it seen better days...showers covered in grime, standard of catering has dropped, chips and nicks in the furniture.

i really just wanted a shower but next time I'll look in to the one of priority pass lounges for - CX is fine for my needs with a good selection of snacks and drinks and tarmac watching view.

BA is opposite QF now but never seems to be open. QF is open all day now for EK flights

Don't wait. Get out there now.

The old First lounge now BA lounge was always ordinary. The old Business lounge now QF lounge is OK. Everytime I am there there are multiple hot food options and has desktops available for use. Only issue is when the Aussie families start to appear with kids in tow.

Both CX lounges are branded First and Business lounges. The lounge around the corner in concourse D is smaller and very ordinary but much better to be there than the main CX lounge in concourse G when that lounge fills up with loud Chinese.

If QF can do a joint QF/BA/CX/AA lounge in LAX, why not a joint QF/BA/CX lounge in BKK that could also serve MH, RJ and AY?
