Just wondering if anyone (with Qantas Club or Gold+ status) has tried to access a Qantas lounge when flying with Jetstar since the QF lounges reopened last month?

I can't see any specific exemption for Jetstar passengers, but I realise that Qantas is being a bit more restrictive with access at the moment so wanted to check.

Solution
Reporting a happy ending (or rather beginning) before my JQ flight this morning - there's even a separate manual contact register for JQ passengers next to the lounge reception instead of scanning the boarding pass...

Yes I’ve used BNE J lounge flying JQ to NTL before the border was closed again.

I can confirm this is still in place. I flew from BNE and had to sign in using pen and paper. As an aside the BNE DRW flight was packed with no semblance of distancing at the gate, nor any attempt by Jetstar staff to try to bring some order to the situation.

I have some comp passes from QF, i tried to link them to my JQ flight and I am not seeing Gold Coast OOL as an option. Other places come up like Carins which the banner above says are not taking the passes.

Has this been removed or is this some website error?

OOL only opened last week, so probably a lag

QF Platinum here, flying JQ SYD-MEL tomorrow. Wondering if I'd be able to access ;

1. The QF J lounge in SYD before departure
2. The QF J lounge in MEL on arrival

Thoughts?

1. Yes.
2. I have not tested arrivals access during covid but I think you may struggle. It is a massive walk from MEL T4 to T1 so I personally wouldn’t bother. You’ll also have to deal with VIC Health on arrival which will kill some time.

Thanks to @Hvr & @justinbrett for your responses. My trip was cancelled due to travel/border restrictions & I didn't travel.

@Hvr - I see your point re the distance, but I haven't set foot in the airport for over 10 months, so I thought it'd nice to go the lounge and see how it is :)

@justinbrett - re : VIC Health - good that I didn't travel. Someone I know did and is now self isolating awaiting negative results ...

Question please - can I access Qantas lounge with a jetstar max bundle?
Or can I link a qantas invitation to a jetstar flight?
Thanks

Your bundle (or lack there of) has no bearing on your ability to enter the lounge for domestic flights.

You can link a Qantas invitation to a Jetstar flight. There’s a slightly different process, just follow the link under the Jetstar logo on the invtitation

Update since my previous experience in BNE - I flew out of ADL on Australia Day and the lounge had a separate scanning device for JQ boarding passes...

Just thought I'd check in to see if I can get an update on this for the current 2021/2022 Travel Season.

Present booked to fly JQ from SYD to AVV on weekend of 19th of November. I take it there's no lounge at AVV but am wondering if I could still get access to the QF Club at SYD.

As an aside, the deal I found seems quite good. For $153 return I'm booked into Max which amongst other things will net me 40 status credits (bare bones Y was around $69 return). Leaving SYD on the Friday at 6:50 PM meaning I can easily get to the airport after work to take the trip, and returning back to SYD on an 8 PM flight, meaning I'll get two full days in MEL. If there's any COVID-safe things I should see or check out let me know!

Beginning of September I accessed the QP as a QF club member before my JQ LST flight from BNE.Sadly my BA gold was useless.
