Won’t be any time soon based on absolutely zero work having been started on the repairs.Any info on when they expect to move back the the proper location?

It took BA 10 months after significant water damage to re-open the GLA lounge. Hopefully QF manage it a bit sooner. But given CA state and all of the red tape, who knows.Let’s hope it gets resolved and doesn’t quietly get shuttered for good

I really don’t think they will shutter it for good.
They do not have the capacity in the OW Lounge.
Yeh nah there wasn’t much of a refurb based on what I observed pre and post flood. The snug went but overall it was very minor. This is true but BA then did a major refurb after their flood at the GLA lounge where as I can’t see QF doing a major refurb at LAX.
That’s what I’m worried about. With Sunrise and the retirement of the A380s it will be odd to have an F lounge LAX and not one in LHR / JFKLet’s hope it gets resolved and doesn’t quietly get shuttered for good

I'm sure if they wanted to open one at LHR, they would've already. Space constraints and what not iirc. JFK, imo QF should be asking AA/BA to open up for their F customers in Chelsea. Don't think there's enough justification to have another lounge in T8, espc if it's a F lounge.LHR / JFK
There’ll still be QF F in/out of LAX with the A350s (non PS) replacing the A380s.That’s what I’m worried about. With Sunrise and the retirement of the A380s it will be odd to have an F lounge LAX and not one in LHR / JFK
