Qantas LAX First Lounge

There are reports on FlyerTalk are the First lounge has been closed due to flooding (?!) with PAX directed to oneworld Business lounge.
Oops, I'm flying out of LA for the first time in ~10 years next month and was hoping to revisit the F lounge.

Hope I can at least access the dining area.

I was burned by that F lounge closure on July 4-th on on my way back from World Cup.
OW lounge was heavily overcrowded, had to wait over hr to be invited to First dining area and to take shower.
Sad, last time in December I was there with fam and wasn't allowed in with 2 kids, and now that....

Did you check out the AA Flagship Lounge?

Did you check out the AA Flagship Lounge?
No, I didn't. That was probably what I should have done....

Was in limbo, as I was given those Bluetooth beacons and told to wait for a spot in both the dining area and the showers, which I was assured would be available fairly quickly.
Plus, I had quite heavy carry-on bags, so I didn't bother moving to Terminal 4.

The AA Flagship Lounge was nice in Miami a couple of days earlier. At least there was zero hassle getting in, unlike with the United lounge....

I had United Platinum status, matched from Qantas Frequent Flyer, and was astonished to find out that they don't allow their own Platinum members access to the lounge when travelling on a domestic itinerary. I actually had to pay a fee to get in!
They did upgrade me to the "J" cabin on the flight from SFO to Austin, though.
