Qantas HK Lounge

Just booked my first trip to HKG over the Queen's Birthday weekend last week! Y+ with the 380 on the way up and the old faithful 747 on the way back. I'm sure the highlight will be the new QF lounge! Loving the sound of a BBQ and Yum Cha service!

Have to wonder why qantas needs to have a lounge presence here. Cathay lounges are more than adequate.
Isn't that a benefit of being in a alliance?

I think CX has more brains than QF.......they have four flight a day ex-SYD!

Didn't even know about that JessicaTam! I'm flying out on QF127 on 07JUN and returning to SYD on QF128 on 10JUN.

At a quick glance through the thread I can't seem to work out exactly what dates you are planning to take over the lounge, but it looks like 08JUN?

Thought this is post-worthy... currently sitting in the CX Wing First Lounge, and they made an announcement calling for a pax travelling on QF128. Guess they're quite used to having QF pax here.

Enjoy the 7-minute brisk walk from the QF dungeon to Wing F. There's a slight shortcut if you go around the back of the shops (on the left as you're walking from the QF lounge) along a narrow walkway. Probably gets you to the Champagne Bar thirty seconds earlier.

Cool. I'm in Hong Kong on 5th. Thursday night opening? Hey Red Roo, move that to the 5th and invite me to the Opening? Surely that's easy to do.

Actually that's when love_the_life leaves HK after QM2. She'll be happy. But I'm more than happy to visit the lounge with her and go back to Langham Place for a couple more nights.
