I had issues with this last year from memory, paid with points after the booking. Took months and multiple calls to Manila to get it awarded.I had a quick look through the thread but coudn't find anyone with this message :

I've just noticed this message under one of my bookings !
- Has anyone tried to use this for their green leaf ?
- If so, was the green leaf awarded when you redeemed the points or when the flight(s) were completed ?

No. From https://www.qantas.com/hotels/campaigns/ecoaccredited-hotelsGiven the limited time I’m wanting to confirm that the leaves for these post when booked and paid for rather than when the stay takes place?
Let us know how you go... with a July 1st new-year I'd like to get one more across the line tooJust running the numbers to see if I can qualify one last time...
jeez they really made it much harder with the recent round of changes to requirements.
This Resmart program looks like a lot of cost and hassle (as worthy as it may be).
:/
I think I'm just going to use the green power option with red energy. I imagine it will be slow to get the Leaf credited. But I have a bit of time up my sleeve. I ran the numbers and their non-green power rates are competitive. So worst case scenario I wait until the Leaf lands, then consider whether to keep the green power add on. It's a good incentive to reduce power usageLet us know how you go... with a July 1st new-year I'd like to get one more across the line too
