Qantas First Lounge in Singapore

Just got notification that QF82 out of Singapore has been pushed from 8:45pm to 2:05am tomorrow. Need to push our late check out even further with Pullman (fingers crossed).

But more importantly, does anyone know what this means for the first lounge? Meant to shut at 11pm. Will they stay open later given later departures or will they toss us out into the unwashed masses?

QF81 is scheduled over 5 hours late.

My experiences are that it stays open for delayed departures. However, given the notice I would not be surprised if they plan on only keeping the business lounge open.

Thanks for the reply and fingers crossed QF81 isn't delayed much longer. Keeping the business lounge open would be wecolmed for the additional 2 hour period (11pm - 1am).
We've managed to get a late check-out from our accommodation to 6pm, utilising the coughtail/canapes at Pullman Orchard until 7pm means arriving at the airport at 8pm-ish. Still a few hours to kill at Changi

Circling back, I can confirm that the Qantas First lounge was kept open until the delayed flight (QF82) was ready to board, which turned out closer to 2:30am! There was closer to around 30 people in there waiting and they kept the service up until the end. Full credit to Qantas and the Singapore First Lounge crew.
We did pop down to the Qatar lounge too (I had to have the Lamb Rack), which was super quiet. It was also reflected in their menu offerings - some things were already "gone".

Adding a data point here in the “F != VIP” context that spans this and the SYD/MEL thread.

Arrived at SIN after our overnight, checked a bag at the First bag drop counter. A First host introduced herself, helped print boarding passes and as we were early suggested we take my daughter to see the waterfall at Jewel before we went through customs. She suggested she’d take us through to the lounge on our return. Seemed like a good start.

Came back and she was not around, no issue as we can walk to the lounge ourselves.

Checked into the lounge, showed boarding passes and welcomed in. Walked ourselves to the restaurant, offered seats, given standard menus. No special menu or suggestion of anything available other than the standard offering.

Either they forgot that we are in F between the door and the restaurant or there’s no longer any specials on offer for F passengers. Or someone at QF just doesn’t like me, which could be equally likely I suppose.

Where did they seat you ? Or did you just pick your own seats ?

We were seated close to the window on the entry side of the first divider in the restaurant section. We walked to the dining area ourselves, we were seated by the attendant waiting at that divider.

Unlike SYD I’ve never been in the SIN lounge and not been in F so I don’t have any other point of reference, but in the past I’ve been seated in either of the first two sections before and after the divider, never down the very far end.

Probably not the best description sorry.
