Bwahahah:mrgreen:

I wonder if the Author listed in the properties had anything to do with it?

Whoops

Agree, the goose (author - BNE real estate agent) has a lot to answer....using a freely available PDF creator. I had no idea about looking at the Properties...

His family is well known in BNE - lucky his family includes partners in a legal firm.

Dan Murphy's 30% Discount Sale A Hoax / Fake

The attachment to the email includes an author’s name of Chris McKnoulty. One person with that name is a property developer in Queensland's Fortitude Valley. When contacted by BusinessDay, that particular Mr McKnoulty said he did not produce the flyer.

“I can confirm that I did not produce this hoax and I suspect someone might be having a joke at my expense,” Mr McKnoulty said. [email protected]

This thread and the exposure of that hoax came in handy yesterday when my elderly neighbour told me about a 30% off special at Dan’s next week. As she goes through a lot of scotch it was disappointing to have to tell her it was BS, but at least it’s saved her the trip!

For the second week in a row I have got 15c/litre or 350 points for $100 total spend for the week at Woolworths liquor. I would say they are trying to make me alcoholic if I wasn't already. :D

I so wish we had Woolworths liquor here… I’d take advantage of that offer. As it is, no offers for me for ages.

Has anyone been successful in retroactively (I hope this is the right word) claiming Everyday Rewards points for a purchase that did not register on the card?

My parents used the Everyday Rewards card at Woolworths yesterday and for some reason it did not register the points and the check-out person tried to fix it but was unable.

No big deal but it is a shame to lose ~160 QFF points....

Agreed, JohnK! No, I haven't had cause to try, but the QF website says that "Retrospective points claims [are] not accepted" from Woolworths Supermarkets. However, the FAQ on the EDR website says:
What do I do if I believe there is a mistake in the number of points that I have earned with my Everyday Rewards card?
You can check each transaction where you have earned points by logging in to your My Account at everydayrewards.com.au or by calling our customer service team on 1300 10 1234.
A phone call may be in order ... as may some luck!

On the other side of the coin, l had about 350 'odd points turn up in my account out of the blue. My shopping isn't huge, and l usually get 10 points here, 20 points there. Imagine my surprise when 350 turned up the other day.

Finally got a targeted offer this morning.

Purchase three boxes of Kirks soft drinks for $10. As many as I want so time to lay down some stocks for summer.

I'll be using this one. :)

Received an email today-"haven't seen you for a while etc" & had to opt in for 12c litre or double points for spending over $30 at Woolies.

Same for me - been overseas for the last five weeks - so zero spend on the card. Went with the double points.

Shame I've had nothing. I've pretty much not spent a cent in the past month thanks to travel. Any spend has been a few items here and there so not given them the card to scan (sub $30 i don't bother).

I never get anything targeted. I need to re-stock the pantry after depleting it (to ensure it was empty prior to all my recent travel) so double points would be a good thing:)

Went to the local Woolworths today and picked up some stocks. Very happy to see the discount come off the total.

Haven't seen this one posted yet, but received this personalised offer the other week.

Targeted offer for double points on all purchases at Big W between 1800 and 2100 weekdays.

Had to pick up a few things myself, so it was a nice little earner today:
