In the past DSCs - has it mattered who you booked through?

I have always booked direct but have a multi trip coming up that will be across a few different oneworld airlines that doesn't seem bookable on QF.

Appreciate I only get it on QF flights on QF metal - but if I book through booking.com, trip.com or aunt betty as an example - does it matter?

Like a few others - waiting on the DSC offer to retain WP but also get lifetime Silver

As long as the booking is completed* within the booking window and travel is completed (or the last segment commenced) by the travel window - it shouldn't matter who the booking is done thru.

Also, read the T&C for each promo to see if booking done by 3rd parties/OTAs are eligible. They have been eligible so far, so don't see why QF would change it in the upcoming promo, but better safe than sorry.

* more caveats apply as to what does completed mean. Could also mean created in certain contexts.
