Righto, as lovely CSM Fiona collected my plate I mentioned how sad it was having no cheese. She said she thinks its return is imminent.
Well, lo and behold she just rocked up with something that I think must have been her own.
And the Peos cab sav continues to shine. A lovely lean, light textured style that’s not overtly fruity. I was surprised to see it at 14.5% ABV. Great with cheese. (And a great thing to nurse mask-off on the 5h+ ride to PER. )
I’ve driven past their vineyard many times during work and watched them transition into wine production from being potato and vege growers (which they still may do).
I asked Fiona to give my cake, choccy and Maggie Beer ice cream to a kid or kids down the back. Done.
