Qantas Delays/Cancellations

Early update on QF 127 SYD HKG on QPI - this flight on 05/07 is facing a delay until 1040 departure - hope they could catch up in air, the flight did arrive slightly late into SYD as QF 20 from MNL @ 0706 instead of 0645. This should not have impacted this departing flight at 1015 with more than 2 hrs of cleaning - therefore would more likely be technical issue...

Also on Sunday 5 July, QF81 (A388 VH-OQC), the scheduled 1020 hours midmorning SYD-SIN did not take off until 1125. Gate arrival should be about 1736 hours, 41 minutes late.

Adding to @tomlee1986 's post above, QF127 from SYD to HKG, the 1010 hours (A333 VH_QPI) was airborne at 1134 so gate arrival looks like 1849 hours, 54 late.

The 1200 'high noon' SYD to DFW QF7 has A388 VH-OQB with estimated pushback of 1245 hours.

A332 VH-EBA is rostered for QF19, the 1225 hours lunchtime SYD up to MNL altered to depart at 1300 hours.

A333 VH-QPH on the 1105 hours BNE-SIN (QF51) had not taken off by 1201 hours.

Sister plane -QPG is running QF59, the 1115 hours SYD-HND estimated to depart at 1204 hours.

The A332 on QF65, the thrice weekly PER across to JNB scheduled out at 1500 AWST mid afternnon is predicted to push back 45 minutes late.

Because QF1 is cancelled ex Sydney today (5 July), the Monday 6 July QF2 LHR-SIN-SYD is also getting the boot.

Saturday 4 July saw B789 VH-ZND operating empty from SYD to MEL as QF6001, with gate arrival at 1155 hours, 35 late. It was meant to operate QF21, the 1335 hours MEL-DFW long haul, but this was cancelled. -ZND remains in Melbourne.

4 July's QF22 DFW-MEL is naturally also cancelled.

QFi's USA routes have been taking a beating with quite a few cancellations. It'd be interesting to know if any downcast Socceroos fans have been affected.

Tue 7th for the SIN -SYD leg in case anyone is confused. That said cancellation notice went out already this morning. (Wife got the notification for the SIN - SYD. We got her moved to QF82 instead).

A332 VH-EBA on the Sunday 5 July QF19 (1225 hours SYD-MNL) took off at 1325 so gate arrival should be about 1931 hours, 41 late.

Six of the eight most recent trips have been at least half an hour late arriving, with two of those more than an hour late.

Sister -EBD is on QF71, the scheduled 1215 hours PER-SIN up up and away at 1421 for forecast arrival at 1849 hours, 110 late.
