Twitter @qfcustomercare. They have a link to an separate communications page. I get responses very fast and in under 24hours from the web communication page.

...email frequent_flyer @ qantas.com.au (remove the spaces).

Please note, as with most big companies, we have a dedicated teams for various operational business units. While we do our best to reply as soon as possible, a response may take a little longer if it needs to be forwarded on.

For future reference, the "separate communications page" is a link to Customer Care via this link: https://www.qantas.com.au/travel/airlines/customer-care-form/global/en. This team is able to assist you with post-travel matters such as feedback (good, bad or otherwise), letter for insurance purposes and compensation requests.

Also, [email protected] is the address for our Frequent Flyer Service Centre. This team assist with membership enquires, profile changes, missing points etc. They're available on 13 11 31 7am-7pm Monday-Friday if you prefer calling them.

Should you have any baggage claim queries, you can contact our Baggage Services team via email at [email protected]. However if your query is about a delayed bag or to arrange delivery, it's best to call Baggage Services directly on 1300 306 980.

For assistance with a current or future booking (both commercial and redemption) or any imminent/urgent matters, our Reservations team are available 24/7 on 13 13 13. They're also able to assist with most queries including flight status, baggage allowance or lounge access queries.

We always encourage customers to approach our crew when on board. They may be able to assist you on the spot, or pass on your details to our Customer Care team on the ground as reference.

The best contacts details specific to your query can be found on qantas.com (Contact Us | Qantas). By using the links, you should also receive an automated response to acknowledge receipt of your correspondence.

Hope this helps, however as always I'm happy to assist wherever possible (at least point you in the right direction). :)

Red Roo do you have a contact preferably email for who ever it is that looks after issues related to hire car bookings made through Qantas.com? I've looked above and on the website and found nothing and the feedback web page seems to be more for flight related bookings.

Hi Red Roo. I am hoping you may be able to assist me with an email address... rather than the customer care form thing? I have a very serious complaint regarding a first class flight my partner and I took last week (well beyond the 'not good enough' stuff, and more in the realm of 'should I get legal advice'). I've no Qantas status (I'm a Virgin Plat) but would like to send an email urgently (I was promised a call after the flight, but haven't received it). Won't post the full details here as want to give Qantas an opportunity to make good first.

Appreciate any help you can provide.

Cheers

I'll send you a PM with an appropriate email address. It's a bit hit and miss, but for an F pax, you should get a response.

I'm somewhat old fashioned in that some communications I prefer to send in writing. I had a recent bad experience with a JQ - QF transfer, but in the process encountered two QF staff who particularly impressed me with their excellence in passenger support, care, and assistance. I wish to write to the Head of Customer Care / Service to suggest they be considered for recognition by Qantas. I figure I can send it to Head Office in Bourke Street, Mascot, but am struggling to find the name of the person to whom I will address the letter. Can anyone help with the appropriate name?

Perhaps Gareth Evans - CEO of Qantas International and Freight
And/or
Jayne Hrdlicka – CEO, Jetstar
Or
Gordon Watson - Manager Customer Experience, Sydney

Or just PM RedRoo

In regards to the Qantas contact number in Tokyo, I was given the local toll free number in Japan.
But the toll free number accepts calls from land line only, not from mobile calls.
I called their alternative number from my mobile but they put me on hold for total 86 minutes, and I was charged 6,720 yen (almost 70AUD) for the waiting phone call.....after the phone bill and the long wait, the Japanese Qantas rep said "I am afraid that Qantas does not offer such a service, Thank you for calling us anyway. Formal complaint should be directed to Australia, not to this local office."....this should not be called "customer service".

Does any have contact details for the first class team in London? I'm flying QF F tomorrow from LHR and want to double check a couple of things with them.

Cheers.

Qantas does not have a "first class team".

The Uk contact is on the company's website and it is 0800 964 432.
If you are a high tier status frequent flyer just enter your frequent flyer number for faster "first class" premium access.

They have First Hosts at LHR, I've searched my phone but cannot find the number. The staff at check-in will ring them for you, otherwise you will find them in a little office just inside the BA Galleries F lounge on the L hand side past the BA service desk.

A click on the two links and a couple of Google searches (as I just did) confirms information all still current in post #1

I needed to cancel flights while in Tokyo and the local number
(+81368330700) worked well though pressing 2 for English didn’t seem to do much. The call centre staff member had excellent English. Very efficient and money refunded within 2 days. Two new bookings linked with no problems. Maybe 10 mins all up.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

It is now  , but also the previous poster is also correct, as Qantas (via the Red Roo handle) no longer post here.

I hope they're well and handling the circumstances we're presented with as well as can be expected.
