One hopes that status would be recognised on both airlines.
Super!
Suggestions for the Domestic and International companies?
How about Trans Australia Airlines ( let's call it TAA) for the Domestic one, and Qantas for the international?
Remember, you heard it here, um, first (-ish).

OMG, the drama !
It seems to me (or am I misreading the linked article?) that QF are merely speculating on coming up with a more favourable corporate structure (as they well should), in line with the way VA has very cleverly, or some would say cutely, structured their domestic and international operations. We already have QF Link, Cobham and Jetconnect operating services under the QF brand, so I don't think a change in the way domestic and international ops are structured is going to be quite as dramatic as some of the above posts seems to imply.
