Qantas connecting to Jetstar ( GK ) at HKG airport 2 ticket

Planning to take advantage of the cheap QF 380 sale fare to HKG with QF128 connecting onto GK 64 Jetstar services to Osaka iti as below 2 separate ticket

SYD - HKG with QF - with 3 hours transit in HKG
HKG - KIX with GK
same with the return leg .

Question : will Jetstar transfer your bag from Qantas and also let me check-in online before arrived at HKG or have a transfer desk open when i landed in HKG .

i have done something similar in last year but it was with QF and CX and CX take care of all the bag transfer without the need to exit/re-entry immigration

Not sure if GK operate a transfer desk in HKG.

I have used transfer desk with other airlines connecting to QF previously so you shouldn't have issues with the return leg.
