I’m pleased to announce that yet another month has passed and I have not won a single thing from QANTAS. My exemplary record has not been hurt by the unnecessary winning of any of the competitions I enter into on a monthly basis on the QANTAS website. Thanks!

I got my 500pt April OLCI bonus this week , but no Lenovo... :-|

On a different vein, I won a trip for two to Ireland in a Jamison Irish Whisky QP promotion back in 1998. (Oh memories ... the hospitality of the Irish :shock: )

Got my 500 bonus points last week for a trip 8th April, and a fews years ago won a $10K QF voucher for making an award booking, only made one during the period so it was just plain lucky. Since them I have missed out on the cars and notebooks, not to worry.

I thought the laptops weren't due to be drawn until late next week (16th or so comes to mind). Anyone remember when it's supposed to be drawn?

From the QF website:

draws will take place at 12.01pm on 22 May 2007 at at Mike Da Silva & Associates (Aust) Pty Ltd (ABN 50 003 894 022), 15 Grosvenor Street, Neutral Bay, NSW 2089. Winners will be notified by mail and their names published in The Australian on 5 June 2007.

So there is still hope.....

Never won any competitions.

On the note of points bonuses though, I received double points between mid-November last year and the end of February on Domestic services. (ie. BNE-SYD : 2000 points per sector) Suited me really well as that's when I had lots of flying.

I don't even bother with QF competitions ; too many entrants for too few prizes makes it, imo, not worth the effort of participating
