First post - so please be kind :)

My husband and I joined Qantas Club this time last year as part of the offer where the joining fee was waived. We are planning to renew this year, but I noticed that we have been quoted different renewal rates. My husband is silver and been quoted $470 to renew, whereas I am only bronze but I have been quoted $310 to renew.

It's not clear why he is paying more to get lounge access. Is he effectively paying extra to keep his silver status for the next year?

Thanks.

Thanks - I had forgotten about that.

I knew that we didn't sign me up on a guest card as we some times travel separately, but had forgotten about the 'partner' card.

Mystery solved. :)
