Hi All

I am just wondering if there's any possibility of getting into the Qantas Club at Melbourne T1 after arriving? I arrive tomorrow morning at 5am on a Jetstar flight but my friend can only pick me up at 8am. I am hoping to get into the Qantas Club if possible while I wait (I'm QFF silver and have the complimentary pass), but looking at the access terms on the QF website it doesn't look likely.

I've got checked bags so I imagine I'd need to collect and store them before passing through security back to the sterile area.

I did a forum search and I think this question was asked about 5 years ago, so I am hoping for some slightly more up-to-date information!

(Sorry if this is an obvious question or I've posted in the wrong place - first time poster!)

Thanks!

There is nothing wrong in asking, but as a PS don't be offending if the answer is No.
Only WP and above are entitled to Arrivals Access domestically.

Sorry about the answer not being what you were looking for.

I have done it in the past...... depends on the eagle eyes of the staff on reception. I would try and all they can say is no

Welcome aboard Chrizztofa. Unfortunately unless you're a Platinum level frequent flyer you won't have arrivals access to the Qantas Club.

Do you have any other QF flights that day? If so you'd be able to get in based on that.

If not all you can do is ask, worst they will do is say no.

Thanks all for your replies, it's a shame but no real surprise that I wouldn't get access.

Unfortunately I don't have any other flights tomorrow, so no luck there. I might give it a go anyway (not like I've got anything better to do for three hours!)
