Grrr...my platinum membership is due to expire on Feb 28 and I have several substantial pacific flights over the next 2 weeks....what's the chances of Qantas keeping my platinum membership open after Feb 28 for a couple of weeks so I can have one last hurrah in the F lounges before I'm sent back to gold?

Score!!! Qantas just comped me Platinum for another year to Feb 11!!! Unbelievable...especially considering how woefully under the 1200 status credits I was for the past membership period.
Boy am I glad I decided not to do a status run last month to catch up on all those required status credits!!!
I wonder when i will get my new card...not looking forward to paper cards!!!

i am 10sc shy of retaining gold and got the "travel plans" email last week. Lucky a work trip came up next week so i will make it back to Gold again without filling the "please comp me" form! save it for when i really need it!
