Hi All,
I'm getting some mixed messages regarding access to AA AC lounges on a QF Club membership.
If I go by the QF website, it pretty much states that you can have 1 guest plus up to 2 dependant children under 18 on the one QF Club membership.
I can't see this anywhere on the AA website. So being the 'I just can't let it go' person that I am, I emailed Admirals Club via the AA website. They came back and said that it's only 1 guest, whether that be an adult or 1 child. Now I'm quite confused as this is in direct odds with the QF website... It pretty much states everywhere that AC members and their children get access to QF lounges here in oz so I'm sort of thinking there would be a two way reciprocal type arrangement here.
I've gone back to the person from American Airlines and (again) referenced the QF website with screenshots. They have now escalated it to get clarification but I'm thinking this shouldn't be so hard - especially when the reverse is pretty much stated everywhere
If anyone has experiences with this they I'd appreciate some thoughts. I know QF just changed their policy to allow 2 children under 18 with a QF Club member and still allow a guest (well I think it's a new thing) so maybe this change is still working its way through the system...
