Qantas Business Class meals & menus

I've sneakily upgraded my parents on their return CBR/BNE flight next week (10K points each) - wonder if my mum knows how to take a photo of her meals with her iPhone :D

Ahh, just let her savour the moment. Sneaky family upgrades have to be the best value of any FF points IMHO. Reactions are priceless.

Took this photo the other day but forgot to post it up. QF1507 Dinner from MEL to HBA, it was roast chicken with garlic aioli and seasonal vegetables.

Dinner Friday night BNE-CNS

I thought the CSM said it was prawn curry, but couldn't quite find the curry sauce. It seemed more like garlic prawns. The prawns were numerous and tasty. Without a sauce, the rice was a bit dry.

Served with a Riesling.

I had this last week DRW-BNE. Asian style seafood but mine had a sauce. Very tasty. Followed by Maggie Beer chocolate & salted caramel ice cream.

How was the Tom Yum soup? first I've heard of that as an option. I love a good Tom Yum but a bad one can be dire.

I do like the Juniper Crossing Sav Blanc as an aside. A decent drop

Was Mrs SMJ's first Tom Yum soup, she found the flavor to be ok, but, quite spicy, she probably shouldn't have had the cracked pepper on top.

I'm not usually a Sav Blanc drinker, however, found the Juniper Crossing to be quite good.

MEL-ADL Breakfast
Ham and Potato Frittata with Pork Snags.

Good size tasty breakfast. Appreciated the fast and efficient service with a few coffee refills on this short flight.

Dinner last night mel-syd, a choice of beef curry or quinoa salad - pretty much the same as the lounge offerings. Luckily I filled up on corn cakes and nuts, I think it speaks for itself:
