So, $400 more, on a sale? For an hours flight each way, I'll tolerate a B737.

No question that VA wins on price! Consistently.

Which is why I don’t think there will be a mass exodus of members with the new FF changes. They're locked in with price.

Some good fares on QF to places like Bali, in economy, $606 return, with an additional comfort seat for around $400. If you’re not platinum with access to one of the rows with an empty middle seat, this is a good alternative for a couple.

Yeah, business class is included in the boxing day sale. Although they pretty much match all the other sale fares during the year. For example SYD-MEL for ~$550 o/w

It does not. Show me J fare that says Boxing Day sale.
