Has anyone had any luck with the CIP lounge in BKK since the QF lounge closed, with their SG or higher status on a Starter Fare with Jetstar Asia (3K)?

Apologies for posting to old thread but I have a 3K flight booked for BKK-SIN in early April with wife and daughter and I was checking the lounge access page as posted above.

We are on the QF codeshare so as a Platinum I would be entitled to a guest in the BKK CIP lounge?

We also have a 3K SIN-BKK flight in late February before the Qantas lounge opens so I think no luck there.

3K pax (even with QF status) get to enjoy the delights of the terminal waiting area. Not even QF P1 status gets you lounge access

Which contradicts what the Qantas website states?

Rules are specific for EK - children count as guest.

"Emirates lounge 0 to 17 years All children are counted towards guest numbers "

Now if a lounge attendant goes beyond that and permits access, then ok, but you cannot count on it as it's contrary to what is published.

If you have a QF flight number and a using the CIP lounge then the lounge operator's access rules apply.

When I was in BKK (travelled J) last July, the checkin agent gave me a choice of either Emirates lounge or Cathay lounge..
