Thanks DSCNo PJs but the flight is pleasant so enjoy in your travel clothes
Yes I got a pair (as did the whole J cabin) last month from Syd to Jhb on QF63.
Slightly OT but slightly related. On this flight being a day flight, do they insist on having the windows shades down?
We were offered pyjamas on our flight in Feb and immediately changed into them. Most people didn't. I find it saves your clothes and we always try and get a bit of a sleep as we fly on from Johannesburg, so generally are only getting to bed at our destination around 4 am Aus time. The cabin lights are turned off after the meal. We have done it a number of times over the last 3 years and it has always been the same. Most people are considerate of people trying to sleep but we had one trip where 4 people on upgrades (we knew this as they talked very loudly about it and how sorry they were for others in their party who didn't get them), who partied the whole way over.Hi all,
Can anyone tell me if you get pyjamas in J class on QF63 - SYD/JNB. It is a long flight but all daytime
Thanks!
I can't remember the crew asking for shades to be put down, but most people just seemed to do it.I don't think so, but I really can't recall. I think if they had insisted, I would have recalled it.

Slightly off-topic but SYD-HKG in November on 747 in business the shades were shut automatically. And then SYD -HKG again last month on A380 in F cabin the shades were again shut automatically a couple of hours into flight.Slightly OT but slightly related. On this flight being a day flight, do they insist on having the windows shades down?
Are they provided on the flight - Dubai - Sydney? 13 hour flight departing in morning and arriving in morning.
They were in F. A new pair for each leg, i.e. LHR-DXB-SYD/MEL.
