Hi all,
Can anyone tell me if you get pyjamas in J class on QF63 - SYD/JNB. It is a long flight but all daytime
Thanks!

No PJs but the flight is pleasant so enjoy in your travel clothes

IME the crew are happy to provide PJ on request for daytime flight. On a recent HNL-SYD flight the person next to me was given one after asking. There were a few left from the SYD-HNL leg.

Pot luck - I've received a few pj's doing BNE-SYD on the old QFlate :D

Advertising for the new pods between per-Syd or mel show a girl wearing QF pj's

Do you get them on that flight?

Slightly OT but slightly related. On this flight being a day flight, do they insist on having the windows shades down?

We were offered pyjamas on our flight in Feb and immediately changed into them. Most people didn't. I find it saves your clothes and we always try and get a bit of a sleep as we fly on from Johannesburg, so generally are only getting to bed at our destination around 4 am Aus time. The cabin lights are turned off after the meal. We have done it a number of times over the last 3 years and it has always been the same. Most people are considerate of people trying to sleep but we had one trip where 4 people on upgrades (we knew this as they talked very loudly about it and how sorry they were for others in their party who didn't get them), who partied the whole way over. :)

I don't think so, but I really can't recall. I think if they had insisted, I would have recalled it.
I can't remember the crew asking for shades to be put down, but most people just seemed to do it.

Slightly off-topic but SYD-HKG in November on 747 in business the shades were shut automatically. And then SYD -HKG again last month on A380 in F cabin the shades were again shut automatically a couple of hours into flight.

Sorry to drag this up, but has anyone done QF23 to BKK recently and know if pj's can be requested? Day flight I know but I'm going on to Europe with AY and I know they won't provide so am hoping I can get some onboard to make one less thing to pack at this end.

i assume there is no trouble getting them on QF24 the other way?

Are they provided on the flight - Dubai - Sydney? 13 hour flight departing in morning and arriving in morning.
