Promo: Up to 30,000 bonus points with Qantas Hotels & Holidays

Also just for everyone’s info, my platinum newsletter advises:
“As a Platinum member, you will earn an additional 5,000 bonus Qantas Points on top of the up to 30,000 bonus Qantas Points currently on offer when you book any Qantas Hotel or Holiday with a checkout date prior to 30 June. Offer ends 31 March 2025.”
No mention of a minimum spend to get those 5000 points either...

I'm still struggling to understand the terms and conditions of this promo.

I understand that I have to spend at least $500 at one property to qualify.

But if I spend $500 at one, $300 at another, and $250 at a third property - does that then count as a $1000 spend which nets 10,000 points - or does that only earn 5000 points? (I hope that makes sense).

As it is I have to cancel one of the three bookings that I made this afternoon for my next trip as I realised that I had booked three properties totalling well over $1000 - but no one property was over $500.

Your $200 and $300 booking is irrelevant as per the T&Cs:
There is a minimum spend threshold of $500 on a single booking to be eligible to earn bonus points.

OK cheers - I wasn't sure whether that was saying that I had to make at least one $500 booking to make all of my bookings count towards the total - if not then I might change two of my bookings as one was $488.

Patiently waiting for bonus 20,000 to hit my account.
5 weeks since stay, 4 weeks post check out.
Qualified as WP on check out day, don't expect I will get the 5000 bonus as it was booked when I was SG?

I received a 3k hotel bonus but no idea why. It doesn't relate to any of the recent promos. I did stay in a bunch of hotels recently but it should be either a 5k bonus or 10k bonus
I just received one of these mystery 3K bonus points - not sure why? Activity and posting date both 27 May 2025.

I did recently complete a stay but I’m not expecting the base points and any bonus for anther ~3wks.

I'd say keep an eye on marketing e-mails from Qantas. I've had a number of offers over the last 12 months offering 3k bonus points on hotel bookings (you've typically got 1-2 weeks to make a booking from the time the e-mail is sent). It's not sent as a standalone e-mail, it's a targeted offer included in a newsletter format.

Yeah, I went back and searched my emails and there have been several 3000 bonus points offers (actually every couple of months). I must have lucked in with one. I’m more used to seeing the “3x” etc promos and these staggered offers (as per this thread). I know I have a shed load of points coming from some future bookings under the 9x promo.
