So it's September 29 and I've just received the "September/October" PP newsletter. Aside from the fact that it's a month late as we all know - not a single BOGOF to be found.
Biggest discount was 30% off in Wellington - mostly 20% off Best Flexible.

Considering my membership goes all the way to mid-June 2015 I am starting to wonder if there's any way to receive some sort of refund.

Obviously I still got the certificates as usual and there is value to be had in those but the newsletter offers were a huge part of the program and they are just non existent now.

What does everyone think? I'm sure others are in the same boat?

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

Its not the greatest, I have a feeling the other program has leaned on PP to tone down the offers.

Also, the bookings have to now be done by phone (unless PP IHGDR works on-line?). And there seems no way to book a BOGO on-line any more.

Would still love to know if the new Dining program will ever issue an email of monthly or bi-monthly or quarterly (annual?) specials ..i am still holding out until I see one!

they offered 40$ off and an bonus 50$ voucher to jump on board ..but i want to see email specials!

They have the email specials online - if that makes sense, ie HI Sydney Airport:

Save up to 25% off at Holiday Inn Sydney Airport
Savor spring with ultimate convenience and 25% off the Best Flexible Rate. Enjoy a hassle-free spring escape at the conveniently located Holiday Inn Sydney Airport. With easy access to and from Sydney Airport and the CBD, gives you more time to enjoy the sights and sunshine of Sydney. Plus, kids stay and eat free.

To book this offer, please call 138 888.

I'm holding out until beginning of next year to join the new program as I'll requalify as Gold but not Plat so will use the one category upgrade for that.

Oh crikey, i think my 'mobile' browser was not loading the Offers tab.

Thanks for pointing this out.

So you must call you can't alter the URL with the 5 character rate codes anymore? I hate calling :-(

Thanks markis10

I just found this page to looks like a future home for all offers?

Accommodation offers are only valid until 19 October except for Crowne Plaza Gold Tower and Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise which are only valid until tomorrow 30 September. Holiday Inn Melbourne on Flinders is valid until 19 October but has blackout dates of 13 – 19 October.
So two hotels are only available for 1 day, one for two weeks and the others for 3. Perhaps it should be titled the Not Monthly Newsletter!

Not happy IHG

I've still got 'a few' PP BOGOs in my possession, and I wanted to use one at the Sydney IC for a Club Access room.

I've found, there is no Club availability for these PP vouchers from November onward ?? ( didn't check all of November, but I wanted a few dates in December - certainly no two-day bookings available in December at all ).

It's all somewhat annoying given part of the spiel for renewing was that the BOGOs were going to increase (guaranteed). I don't think I've used a single cert for anything out of this years "Pack of lies Program", which for me doesn't expire until about March (I think). To be honest, I'm only a tad annoyed, as I'm actually pleased the bullsh*t artists have had the rug pulled from under them.....just a shame that IHG are shafting us at the same time!

Surprised I haven't seen more certs going on that auction site if they become harder to redeem. At Intercon Syd a month ago there were 3 people in a row lined up using them at the same time (including me ;-)

You just missed one ( BOGO ).
Went for $30.
Wasn't under 'PP'. Was under 'Intercontinental Hotels'.

New newsletter out this morning, looks like it runs for a month or so from today, and once again a distinct lack of value, the days of BOGO no certs seem to have gone forever.

Using one at Potts Point HI next month.
Paying $170. for TWO nights.
Noted the Dining Discounts in the lattest Newsletter ...
When you read it, there is NO value at all !!
( referring to the 'cheese plate' offer ).
Better off to use the PP card for 50% off two mains, rather than their 'offer' of a "cheese plate" - with NO further promo use ( which I take to mean ... no PP card )
I can't see up to $40. value in a 'free cheese plate' ...
