I went to TGM on Aug 1 and it swiped just fine for my guest and me :)

Keep an eye out and see if you end up with a charge on the credit card linked to the PP.

I got warned that it was last day when at Mach 1 at T3 in Sydney last week. Doesn't worry me much as I have a Citibank Prestige issued card that is also unlimited, but if the restaurants are not renewing then thats going to be disappointing

Oh nooo.. If that's true I wonder why. I didn't think it cost them extra to accept PP, in fact every time when my bill total comes short of the $36 limit the waiter always ask if I wanted something else to bring it up closer to the limit, so it appears that they receive $36 from PP regardless if my spend is less.

FWIW, for those non-Amex PP holders, I've been using it as I had previously for all of August and September, and the usual outlets in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane are all accepting the card as per usual.

The only difference is now they all have a 'sorry, we don't take the Amex PP card any more' sign.

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I've been using this feature of PP card in both Melbourne and Sydney airport numerous times now.

Just wondering if you had used the PP lounge in the last couple of weeks. I have an upcoming travel and it will be good to have that option during transit.

So is the PP still working for restaurant credit? It still shows on the PP app. How do they even tell you have a PP due to Amex Platinum?

Yes, I believe Citi Signature have 2 passes for PP. You can use it for the restaurants

Honestly hate dealing with Citibank. I have never received the priority passes for the Citibank card and my flight is on Wednesday so doubt I'll be able to get the passes in time.

you need to apply a PP account with the unique code provided by citibank. Citi doesn't just automatic enroll you in PP

From what I can tell mrsamaroo's BOQ specialist issued PP is still good.... not that we've ever used this benefit.

Update from BOQ.

Email confirms the unlimited pass is now only 4x a year, and you can continue to use it at the SYD/MEL/BNE restaurants.

Yep, saw that today. Seriously reduces the value proposition of the card now.

I might just pay for an outright PP membership myself (almost all my travel is for work), unless there is another credit card alternative.
