I am sure someone here will have the answer to my question.
My flight out of Brisbane was delayed and QF didn't hold the flight to LAX I was connecting to.
That was ok they rebooked me on a later a flight and altered the AA flight I was conecting to.
Further delays meant I missed that AA connection as well. When I arrived at LAX AA had no more seats available to my destination so put me on a US Air flight.
Great service I arrived at my final destination only about 90 minutes later than planned.
My question is though, do you usually get points for the sector where this happens or does it usually mean you miss out?
I am not too concerned either way, it wouldn't amount to many points anyway, but I am curious.
