Points earned on JQ not crediting

Hi all!
I’ve noticed that, when I fly JQ on a max fare, the FF points and SCs never automatically hit my account, so I need to do a missing flight request each time. You might remember my last post about how I just missed out on platinum because I was waiting on lots of flights to credit.
Anyway, I haven’t submitted a missing flight request for a while, meantime I have about 20 JQ max flights to be added.
My question is what would happen if I waited until after my membership year changes over before I submit the requests? Would they adjust my current year (I’ve got 2 more loyalty rewards this year), or would they set me up nicely for next year?
