I have just received an email for a promotion celebrating the addition of JL, RJ and MA to oneworld.

Race around Oneworld

I cannot get the "Enter Now" link to work on my laptop. I have also tried the HTML version without success.

Anyone else have problems?

I managed to get the enter now link to work and got the option for the flash or google earth pop up. Google earth wasnt brilliant so closed it and tried again a couple of times - but then decided to leave it for when I am home and on my big computer rather than office laptop.

However - I think as more FFers got this the website got caned and a little overloaded :)

Looking forward to my two business class RTW tickets though ;)

Nice prize, but only valid for Australian residents

JohnK - do you have pop-ups blocked? Also needs Flash to load.

Yes I do have pop-ups blocked. I find it much quieter this way.

I finally managed to load the game, finished it and where I am supposed to enter my details nothing appeared.

I love this part of the T&C:

"After completing the Qantas oneworld game, Eligible Entrants must select a check box to opt to forward the oneworld promo game to a friend via email. Entrants can only receive a maximum of one entry into the Bonus Draw."

Yeah, right. Lets force contestants to spam their friends with this to get an entry into the 100000 FF points draw.

Overall though, it is a good competition. I believe the first time they've offered Business class RTW tickets in quite a while?

Flash version worked fine for me.
Same here. Noticed the competition on the QF website earlier today. Had just finished entering my details after racing around the world when the email wa received from QF regarding this competition.

Why spam a friend? I spammed my own spam-receipt email address  .

I played the game as well ..... Lets hope one of the frequentflyer.com.au members wins the prize ...... Preferably me of course.

Well I spammed a non-existant address. Wonder if that rules me out :)

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Well I "spammed" my son, who "spammed" my daughter, who "spammed" my wife.

I'm quite happy to get 4 chances at this rather than 1, and as they are all existing QFF members I hardly think the email addresses are news to Qantas.

Cheers,

Andrew

Hilarious, typical Sydney-centric Qantas. The last departure board from LAX comes up and says now fly back home...to SYD and the other two spaces are blank. Gee, did Qantas forget that they actually fly from LAX to MEL and BNE and that some 6 million Australians live in those cities, far more than live in Old Sydney Town. :p

Very similar scenario in our house. It's easier the second and subsequent times when you don't have to read the clues.
The Google Earth version didn't work for me but the flash version worked OK.

Finally completed an entry! And in the bonus draw!

Like wise. The flash version worked a charm BUT the Google Earth version wouldn't play the game.

Keeping it all in the family as well
(18. In the event that the winner is under eighteen years of age, the prize will be awarded to the winner's parent/s or legal guardian.)

... unlike the Lenevo OLCI promotion of last month only one entry per person is needed (Qantas oneworld Promotion Terms and Conditions):
... with the exception of into the Bonus Draw entry obtained in accordance with paragraph 6, Eligible Entrants are permitted one entry only.

6. ... Entrants can only receive a maximum of one entry into the Bonus Draw.
