Well AFAIK, my PA and Son will be attending without partners so maybe there is the possibility of "guesting"??

Hmmm, partner must be guest . Not sure I want to divorce my wife to attend the event though :eek:

Say hi to John & Kelly Travolta for me. John T winked at my wife when we met him at a similar QF function in 2003 (lucky me, I say, but she's mine).

The email is to my PA. I have been invited too and I expect there will be a few CL's invited along with their staff.

This will be a good test then to find out. You and Marge got your invite yet - or did you transfer away too much of your flying to VA and others?
 
I can see a number of pre- and post-event get togethers for attendees:

1. Pre flight Business Lounge departure (for those flying to SYD) - or even a Flounge opportunity perhaps (ex-MEL)
2. Pre-event drinks
3. Post event drinks (Hotel?)

No chance for me Lindsay. Firstly my domestic flying dropped considerably earlier in the year. As you know :). Secondly as I am fortunate to be able to pay for premium cabins rather than take the upgrade lottery on international flights, I am not chasing status at the moment because I don't need it. Coupled with the fact that I have been choosing EK and VA over QF I am just happily sitting on QF SG right now. So no chance of WP for me, let alone WP1! (Though I do have a OWE card for the time being courtesy of CX and their deal with Amex). Maybe if I go back to work again...

Got my invite as well. :D

Just moved a business trip to Townsville to clear the night ...Mr esquire (is that a tautology :?:) is (begrudgingly) coming
 
Where's my invite from VA for their private party for their super elite FF'ers. :evil:

Just joking, to those who are going, enjoy the night. It sounds like it'll be a good time.
 
Got my invite as well today, look foard to meeting a few fellow members, will do my best to provide some updates on the night.
