Plat Priority Line Not working

Hi all

Have been trying to get through using the Platinum number and it its not asking for F/F Number etc and had been on hold for more than 20 minutes gave up tried again and again no enter your F/F Number and goes to general que.

Is any one else having the same issue?

It was having troubles this morning but came good after a few minutes. Sounds to me like it is getting worse not better as the day continues.

Just tried, didn't work for me.

Seeing as you can, I'd just use the P1 number :p

Ok Posted this at 4.19 pm received phone call from customer service at 4.28.

Apparently Red Roo rang them and got them to ring me to help with what I wanted to do.

Firstly thank you Red Roo :)

Secondly it shows how powerful this forum can be :)

Indeed there is a problem with the Telephone system and this has been reported to the appropriate provider.

Maybe "priority" has also been redefined in the Qantas English Dictionary.

I did indeed use the P1 number but try and avoid doing so for what should be a simple task :)

I get that too... but if you can't do a simple task the regular way, sometimes you need to go the P1 way :p

The Platinum priority line has been enhanced.

Called today and after putting in my QFF number I was on hold for a few minutes. Not the end of the world but the calls used to get answered almost instantly.

I guess this is one of the areas where they have cut costs.
