Hi guys,

I will be connecting onto QF from HKG to MEL. I notice I am eligible to claim the HK departure tax back, but the the problem is nowhere I can find the detail items of the Qantas tax but only a lum sum on the itinerary/tax invoice, which I need for the tax back.

Anyone knows where to find the information?

Thanks

Have you tried requesting a copy of the ticket from the "manage booking" section on the Finnair website?

You can log in on the Finnair website using your Qantas booking reference.

It’s HKD120at the moment, you just need your arriving bp to claim, but if you want to do it at the airport you will have to clear customs and go to Aisle D, Level 7, Departure Hall

I did this a couple times pre covid connecting CX-CX in HKG with separate tickets.

Relatively straightforward and easy to find, but can be time consuming if you don’t have access to HK e-gates either as a frequent traveller or HK ID card.

That requested tax invoice is same as the e-ticket from booking confirmation email.
But I have not tried to call yet I think the agent is able to tell but hard to generate one
