The early morning thrice weekly 0600 hours departure from SYD, PR214 is normally on time or early but this is not the case on Monday 13 February with A333 RP-C8760 taking off at 0749 for an expected MNL arrival at 1316, 121 late.

Saturday 18 February sees PR212 (1130 SYD - MNL, A343 RP-C3439) having taken off at 1243. Arrival should be at least 40 minutes delayed at 1730.

PR221 (MNL - DRW - BNE) has a good timekeeping record but on Thursday 23 March, the DRW - BNE second leg is late with A321 RP-C9907 taking off at 0638 compared to its timetabled pushback of 0505. BNE arrival is suggested as 1056, 76 minutes late. PR222 back will be delayed.

A week after the previous post, PR214 is in a similar situation with it having taken off on Monday 10 April at 0632 from SYD but MNL arrival delayed until about 1221 hours, 66 minutes late. A343 RP-C3438 is the aircraft.

On Good Friday, 14 April 2017, PR210, the 0900 hours MEL - MNL (A333 RP-C8766) did not take off until 1118; arrival is predicted to be 64 minutes behind at 1639.

A333 RP-C8765 on PR209 ex MNL, into MEL on Wednesday 19 March is expected to arrive 54 minutes late at 0814 but may be further delayed as with several other aircraft it is in a hold to Bendigo's east due to the fog in MEL that has already resulted in TT426 ex PER diverting, it appears, to ADL.

UPDATE: PR 209 looks to be arriving MEL at 0828 hours.

PR214 is again battling the winds on Thursday 20 April with this 0600 hours SYD - MNL taking off at 0626, only about five minutes late but arrival not predicted until 1203 hours, 48 minutes tardy. Aircraft is A343 RP-C3441.

On Friday 21 April, the ex MNL PR211 (A343 RP-C3436) is suggested as arriving in SYD at 0924, 39 minutes late.

The 0900 MEL - MNL PR210 (A333 RP-C8765) took off at 1004 so arrival is likely at 1608, 33 late.

Due to late arrival of the inbound PR209, the Sunday 23 April PR210 (A333 RP-C8762, 0900 MEL - MNL) took off at 1127 so arrival should be at 1715, 100 minutes tardy.

PR212 (A343 RP-C3435, 1030 SYD - MNL) took off at 1306 with arrival suggested as 121 minutes tardy at 1921 tonight.

UPDATE: PR212 returned to SYD with landing gear problems:

I gather it is still in Sydney, meaning passengers are presumably delayed overnight. These A343 aircraft (some of which are quite old: this one is 17 years old) are supposedly coming off some or all MNL - SYD - MNL flights in August 2017 when refurbished more modern (and seat capacity reduced/ proper IFE and improved business class equipped, and Y seating reduced to eight across from nine across) A333s take over. The refurbished A333s take over from existing high density A333s on the MNL - MEL - MNL route in July 2017 if the refurbishment program is on time.

On Anzac Day, Tuesday 25 April 2017 PR214 took off from SYD at 0626, only about 5 - 10 minutes late but arrival is not predicted until 1210, 55 minutes late. RP-C8763 is the aircraft. This schedule is perhaps a bit fast and may not have been adjusted much to reflect the end of Daylight Saving time in Oz.

PR209, the 2115 hours Tuesday 25 April overnight MNL - MEL did not take off until 2318 hours (A333 RP-C8760) so Wednesday 26 arrival is not likely before 0852 hours, 92 minutes late. PR210, the 0900 hours MEL- MNL subsequently became airborne at 1100 with arrival estimated at 1719 instead of 1535, 104 minutes tardy.

RP-C3435 (A343) is being ferried (i.e. empty working) from SYD to MNL (departing at about 2130 hours on Tuesday 25) after its landing gear failed to retract as above.

On Friday 28 April, PR210 is arriving into MEL at around 0758, 38 minutes late. Aircraft is A333 RP-C8766: it originated in MNL.

The MNL - DRW - BNE PR221 has a pretty good punctuality record but on Saturday 29 April, the second sector is late with A320 RP-C8614 having taken off from DRW at 0735 against its timetabled pushback of 0630; BNE arrival should be at 1200 'high noon', exactly an hour late. PR222 back to DRW and MNL will be delayed as a result.
