Online award booking - an error has occurred in our central database

Have been trying to make award bookings tonight to no avail, getting the

"an error has occurred in our central database'

after inputting passenger names.

Anyone else got the same?

Yes, I tried to book about 2 weeks ago and got the same message. It finally worked fourth time round. The first three, my internet connection was slow. I searched for Qantas problems and found that if it times out or takes over about 10 mins, the error message appears.

Im just having it happen continually now, im just trying to book using multi city option MEL-HKG-BKK on CX.

I've tried booking some other routes with multi city, just keeps happening
 
spoke to the premium desk, they got it booked for me on the phone and waived the booking fee, excellent service received actually.
 
Yes, I tried to book about 2 weeks ago and got the same message............

2 weeks ago for me too - got the same message repeatedly over a couple of hours and eventually had to ring to book;......and a big "Cheerio" to Fleur the particularly unhelpful Kiwi lass at the QF call centre who told me I should ignore the message to call them and just keep trying on-line - amongst other BS!!! I simply asked the obvious "Why can't you do it?" but gave up when that made her seemingly even more determined NOT to help me. (I have the time and date if you want to listen to the tape of what some of your staff think customer service is, Red Roo). Thankfully QF also employs Jodie who couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful.
 
I had an interesting CSO of Pauline today - she was nasty and very aggressive - I have never had this type of service from the call centre (admittedly I don't have to call often 3 times a year at most) so I just dug in and got the job done and asked for a manager and lodged a detailed complaint. I insisted that the manager "John" listen to the recording. **and yes it was in regards to an award booking (air berlin had cancelled on of my flights)
 
now I just get:

An error occurred while processing your request.


when trying to search awards
 
I had an error crop up on the last screen making an award booking this week. Rang the plat line and it was sorted out easily (and pleasantly). Booking came through but no 'change' button on the booking. Rang back a couple of days later to make a change and was told there's a note in my booking to waive all phone fees on it because of the initial computer error.
