Ok guys some questions, have searched the site, but want to check.

Is this sequence OK, where start and end points are different?
PER - RTW - SYD - BNE - ISAX - BNE - MELX,

Does an open jaw count as a sector, if not is this ok?
PER - RTW - SYD - BNE - ISAX, BNE - MELX - PER,

If you book an AONE and there is no first cabin, do you try for D then L, or can we use C?

1) Yes, the start/end points can be different if they are both within the country of origin.

TRAVEL MUST BEGIN AND END AT THE SAME POINT EXCEPT ORIGIN-DESTINATION SURFACE SEGMENTS PERMITTED AS FOLLOWS - WITHIN COUNTRY OF ORIGIN WITHIN MIDDLE EAST WITHIN SOUTH AMERICA BETWEEN THE USA AND CANADA BETWEEN HKG AND CHINA. BETWEEN BANGLADESH AND BKK/SIN. BETWEEN MALAYSIA AND SINGAPORE WITHIN AFRICA

2) No it does not count for the purpose of sector limitation rules. So yes your itin looks ok.

(I'm assuming X = stopover?)

3) Not sure there but I'd assume only A, D and L are allowed. Someone else might like to confirm this.

It depends on the carrier and route:

AY/EG/MA/RJ/XL/4M D D L

Sorry QF009, you assume correct, I couldn't remember how to show a stop a midnight last night, so in a good aussie tradition I made one up. I do now remember how to do it.

Hopefuly somone knows the answer to this

I am scheduled to get into SFO from LHR on BA at around 16:30, and then leave for SYD on QF at 2230ish. Does anyone know what lounge arrangements are available, ie what time do the lounges open?

This page on Qantas.com indicates 1900 to 2230.

It's run by Japan Airlines - Sakura Lounge.

Thanks Serfty, I think Qantas uses the BA lounge as its F lounge. Does anyone know if these lounges have a shower in them?
