Sorry to offend you Chucksta, but I've changed from 23 to row 70K before - if you mean the row at the back when the seats change from 3 down to 2?

Great seat with extra space between the window seat and the window, and 2 seats in front to put bags & feet under.

I did this once! Scrolled to the back of the plane, plenty seats were available. On the plane there was only half a dozen or so other passengers back there. Quite a pleasant flight actually!

Agreed. Sometimes works for you and sometimes against.

It really sucks how my wife has window in her profile and I have aisle. We never ever get given AB or JK on a 767. It's awalys the block of the 3 in the middle. She is a SG and i'm a WP... go figure...

Exactly the same with me and my wife. I have been trying to figure it out for a while but can't.

I bet their program that allocates seats probably does this:

Give the higher ranking member (eg WP) their request.. eg aisle.. then whatever seat is available for the travelling companion(s). ie.. don't take into account their status or profile.

Really really dumb if u ask me...

I wonder what will happen when my wife gets to WP next month.. she will probably get her preference.. and i won't! since her name is alphabetically before mine!

Is it possible to OLCI for a domestic sector of an international flight number? I'm flying QF74 SYD-MEL and the recommended check-in time would see me getting to the airport very early otherwise. I'm also travelling only with hand luggage.

No!

I Flew both QF74 and QF73 a couple of weeks ago. It was an OMG start to QF74. BTW SYD customs for departure opens 5:30am
