No babies in F

NC headphones work for low frequency drone... if lucky they work well against snoring but not a high pitch crying.

The ear plugs are the best bet against crying... or DJ headphones that completely isolate external noise.

I am not looking forward to getting old then, while you are young you are less concerned with baby noise but as you get older your hearing becomes more sensitive to noise. Although one AFF mod says I probably won't get old anyway so I won't have that problem. :p

They should install some.
But this happened 7 years ago.Doesn't seem to be a major problem.
Just checking the QF seat maps-747s have 2 bassinet positions in F,380 only 1-have people been having a go at QF for halving the bassinet positions in F?
Actually looking at the 747 seatmaps there is 1 bassinet for each 44 Y seats but 1 for each 7 F seats.

There are lots on this forum who don't :D.

Let them take their (always impeccably-behaved) little Tarquin, Taylah and Reign-beau and fly far, far away from me.

Or as I prefer to say, take the snotty nosed, DYKWIA pax who think they run the plane away from me and my 8yo daughter! We prefer to travel in peace..

There are 2 sides to it! And i've had more issues with the above, than with screaming kids..

...and I'm quite certain that your darling little 8yo Taylahhh is impeccably behaved, as well as possessing the IQ of Einstein. It's the other kiddies that I'm referring to of course.

But surely she doesn't fit into a bassinet?
And it is the lack of bassinets that prompted the article after 7 years.

Well fair enough, this attitude is selfish. But the fact of the matter is I'm happier during the flight when there are no crying babies and therefore would prefer flights without babies on board.

Sorry but baby and crying is not mutually inclusive. Babies can be on board and you never notice them. So you can be happy with no crying babies and still have babies on the aircraft. So here you are just showing your ignorance of all things to do with a baby.

In any case, toddlers are much worse behaved. For a start they are mobile, lack reason and want to explore the world. Whereas babies are mostly happy to lie there and suck on a tit. Toddlers lose that happiness until they get to about 16.

Yes... As as noted in the opening post.

It's just that there's a news article on it

And as I recall that other thread also linked to a news story. Hence I'm not sure another whole thread was needed.

Since only celebrities name their adopted babies from Africa with those names, I think that you're DYKWIA will lose out to their WKWYA

You have the worst logic of anyone I have ever crossed paths with.

Of course not all babies cry in flight, but babies in general cry (did i say they all cry during the flight). Do you have a sure fire way to telling which babies will or won't cry? If there were no babies in the cabin will the babies cry? no cause they're not in the cabin there for a prefer the situation where they are not there.

I agree the toddlers can be worse behaved in some instances but good parents control them because you're able to talk to a toddler unlike a crying 1 year old.

The thing is that crying babies are one of many things that can ruin your flight...

A rude \ inconsiderate pax is just as likely to make a flight a living hell as a crying baby... I've had to put up with more rude \ inconsiderate adult pax than crying babies over the years, and yet there is no call to ban drunken adults who act like coughholes...

Grumpy FA's \ CSM's can also ruin a flight...

But these things are all things you expect on public transport... If your not happy with dealing with it, charter your own plane...

Rude and inconsiderate passengers are far worse than any baby.

Gumpy I think must the guy in the new Maccas ad.

You're silly, your poor logic is only beaten by Medhead. Yes many things can ruin a flight, but one of the things listed won't be around for one particular cabin in this particular airline. For some this is welcome and adds to the decision process.

Just like why some people choose to fly Singapore/Cathay etc because there's less chance of the FA's being tools.

Mate i'm a quite a considerate passenger, asking the person behind first before I recline and only if the flight in Y is over 5 hrs.

Rude or inconsiderate pax are worse, no one is arguing that. 1. how do you screen them out? 2. FA's job to deal with them.

They can't really do much if a baby goes off during the flight.

Do you have a sure fire way to telling which babies will or won't cry?

Do you have a surefire way of telling which adults are going to ruin your flight? As some unlikely JQ pax discovered, it's not necessarily going to be the person sitting next to you...

Yeah your right, that would be value adding to the top tier of clients, I must have had to higher expectation of Malaysian.

One thing ,though, is that it is not likely to affect a lot of people. Malaysia have a first class cabin of 12 seats on only a handful of routes.
