Were the aged bottles easy to source? The Grande Annee seems to rerelease at 30/40 years.
Marc Bredif Vouvray vertical last night. All the classics except for the 1989 and 1985 were the grande annee. Unfortunately the 2009 and 1985 were corked. I've always been a huge fan of these. They drink so well young and can age forever!

What vintage was The Relic? I bought some of the 2019 from Qantas wine…

Thanks! Will hang onto mine for a couple more years before I crack one.2017 and drinks beautifully after just 5 years.
Probably the most approachable Standish wine when young. The splash of Viognier works wonders

Arguably (actually maybe not) one of the top 5 Cardies in Aus (maybe top 2). These are built to last too so at 5 yrs maybe a touch young. Doesn't mean it is too young but has plenty of time left. If you like Chardonnay with your fish then can't go wrong. The Art Series are a great wineDon’t know much about whites - would this be worth trying with flatheads fillers tonight?
