pennys hill black shiraz, sweet dark fruits,oak, just entering the second phase,good price at $20.
keith tulloch , i don't mind the blends but not as exciting as other regions, doesn't taste like a hunter red.
The little gem shiraz shows better fruit , more power but also more jammy, both of these can go for another 8 years before drinking but not my type of
Meerea park Alexander Munro Shiraz. screwcap, this is not the aged release, the fruit is still young, spicy and earthy, strong acidity, but also noticeable oak, very long finish. but the wine of the night goes to....
Mount pleasant rosehill, this is at its perk, sweet red fruit,creamy oak,leather and earth, this wine only cost $20? i wish i bought a dozen.
Forgot about the bin 0, dark fruits,pepper/dusty maybe still not open up yet, come back in an hour on the glass, sweet plum , good acidity and oak, the only thing sets apart from the rosehill is the pepper and spices, the rosehill is more clean.
