i know i'm gonna get abused for this..but to place such importance on the availability of a few pieces of printed paper makes me laugh.. i'm fairly sure most if not all airports have a news agency shop located in their terminals...or am i naive to think that F/F can't find $2 (or thereabouts) to buy one!! ahhh yes..i hear you all now mumbling "we are entitled to a newspaper"...we are our worst enemies..as with most scenarios..the minority screw it up for the majority.... there are millions of people around the globe that are 'entitled' to clean drinking water...but we still can't manage that!!! but then again..this is a forum..we are here to post our views... carry on as you do!! off soapbox now:!: bazinga!:p

@ under the radar, I totally agree. There is a newsagent in most Q clubs for goodness sakes! Is it too much to hand over a spare $1 for the Silly Terrorgraph and it's amazing four page Confidential section? How ever does one keep up with the Krapdashians without it?

I've only seen a newsagent in the SYD QC and $1 for a paper? Perhaps you need to update from 1980s prices.

Daily Telegraph is $1 still. Herald Sun is $1.10. The Australian is $1 something and the Fin review is about $2.00

I have an Ipad & an Iphone. I love to read my news on them --- you all should do the same , save time , save paper , save the world from global warming.

With the utmost respect for the fine people responsible for the production of the first 2 journals that you list ;), I am a newspaper snob. $1.70 for The Oz, [-]I thought more towards $2.50[/-] $3 for the Fin. I sometimes read the 'Tiser when I feel like a good laugh, but it is about [-]$1.50[/-] $1.10.

But then I would have to support the pay per view model to visit the websites of my preferred papers.

For obvious reasons I have not purchased a newspaper for some time! Never knew the Fin review was that much, the Oz, last time I saw a price they were giving it away for 50 cents in Melbourne

I could be wrong about the Fin, I'll check tomorrow. I am pretty sure the weekend Fin is over $3 and the Weekend Oz was $2 or so when I cancelled my subscription.

Edit: I was wrong about the Fin it's $3 during the week. Also the advertiser is $1.10.
