I hate to be a party pooper, but I wish QF would stop all bonus SC promotions. You either qualify or you do not. If QF want to make it easier to earn a certain status level they should just reduce the qualification level.

But it's not about helping people achieve status per se, it's about encouraging a higher spend that wouldn't have otherwise occurred.

Like the whole FF program, bonus SC promotions are just a marketing tool. Bonus SC promotions are there to try to encourage particular behaviours.
