New Qantas promos including double status credits (book by 3/9/25; travel 4/9/25 until 22/8/26)

So I booked last week during the promo for a flight the next day. (Normal booking method)
DSC are in my account this morning. I was able to view the film a day early..... That was unexpected but very much appreciated..

Also I am curious: Did anyone book the option to attend the classic film we all love without selecting a date? Thence in the future when one finds they need to attend a screening select a session time of their choosing?
It is probably a bit early in the films season to know if this is till a viable way to see the original version including the credits.

Still waiting....

Lengthy wait, but great to see them (eventually) arrive.

I know comments have been made in the threads for earlier DSC campaigns, but I have definitely noticed a general slowdown on DSCs posting from previous periods - several recent October 24/March 25 bookings have taken 5-6 days to post compared to the typical 1-2 days before the most recent campaign. Was starting to think the system was getting a bit more sophisticated at checking tickets were booked for the original session times, but seems to be due to something else.

Its pretty normal on new DSCs before to take upwards of a month.

We could just have a new batch of interns that are just as bad as the old ones and last years was a special bunch.

Am I right in thinking that QF award flights booked during the DSC promo period (after first registering) and then flown on September 6th should also be eligible for double the SC that I receive as a Points Club Plus member?

I flew WLG-MEL-SYD on a J classic award. Received the 32 + 18 SC more or less straight away, but no sign of the DSC 10+ days later. Should I be worried? Or just patient? :D

Definitely eligible and should arrive in due course.

Thanks @DejaBrew

My previous experience with DSC has been that they tend to arrive within a couple of days of the original SC arriving, so I was starting to second guess whether I had understood the rules correctly...

Am getting close to qualifying for WP for the first time in my miserable life so am paying even closer attention than usual! :D

We’ve been seeing delays recently, but in saying that, @elanshin is right that it’s not at all unusual for the first/earliest DSC postings for a given promo period to take a while to appear. I think 11 days is the current max reported wait for this most recent DSC promo, so chances are you may even see your bonus SC post overnight tonight (but even if they don’t, stay patient for now ;)).
