So I took the plunge, and booked CBR-BNR-MNL return, for travel that I needed to do anyway, and it should net 640 SCs for discount business.

Should have proof read my post, it was CBR-BNE-MNL (not via Banfora in Burkina Faso...)

Even better when you have a travel agent who knows how to put more then 1 ticket (for the same person) into a single PNR.

I wish I was able to use a competent travel agent for my business travel. Every company I've worked for we always seem to be forced to use the most incompetent ones. Amex GBT in particular was the absolute peak of uselessness and even when given exact flight details of what you wanted, they still managed to find a way to book those flights as a weird codeshare or something that wouldn't earn QFF points. /rant over.

Did people receive the confirmation email for registration? We took screenshots just in case.

I registered on the website days ago and got a confirmation email, but in the app it didnt show my registration per screen shot above, so I just registered again via the app to be doubly sure.

It now also shows in the app and also sent me a second confirmation email.

I feel doubly covered.

I believe by default it should fail but from memory recent t&c changes means you can ask them for it iirc.

Since I’ve gone the double Points option, as an experiment I booked something using the voucher and that’s retained the original voucher PNR (issued last month) but I might have to change that flight.

The balance of the voucher was reissued today with a new PNR, so not sure what surprises that might come with!

Well I booked to view at the cinema like old times, but I also signed up for a few of those newer direct streaming viewings as well. Same film, different way of viewing (if you catch my drift).

Booked multiple viewing sessions in the last hour. No old method for me but a few of the new streaming sessions. I hope changing viewing sessions will be easy in the future!

Probably LTSC debacle turned a few people off. One of my colleagues asked me what my thoughts on chasing LTG and I said don't chase it actively. If you get WP yearly then you'll naturally hit it. Don't pour more money in hopes of getting it as we've seen QF try to pull the rug from underneath us from this DSC promo.

IMHO, Qantas really screwed this one up by saying at the start that the status credits earned from this promo wouldn't count towards lifetime status.

I do also think that it hasn't been long enough since the last promo for people to get too excited about this.

That said, I'm sure some people have found this promo useful.
