New Qantas promos including double status credits (book by 3/9/25; travel 4/9/25 until 22/8/26)

I believe by default it should fail but from memory recent t&c changes means you can ask them for it iirc.
Yeah, figured it’s better to save that credit for something else and avoid the heartache.

Probably only going for DPs since I have enough SCs through to Aug 26 anyway…
 
One question that I haven't seen asked yet - given that this DSC has come earlier than normal - when is the next one going to be? 😂

My guess would be around March next year give or take a month
 
Yea…this is my understanding of what a PNR is ..
PNR is basically like an envelope that’s addressed to a passenger. You can put routes and dates into the envelope, you can add/remove/modify the routes and dates that you have already put it to the envelope.
@Ade, thank you very much for this explanation. Normally I only book when I have my dates but I might take a risk and book some dummy dates far enough into the future and, hopefully, as you've pointed out, I'll be able to update it easily if it decides to re-route me through a different connecting city once the dates are known.

I'm just taking a look at the Business Sale fare and wanted to clarify: it mentions that there's a change fee of $175 - is this once per booking or per flight? I looked into the Business Flex fare and it was almost double the price. If the change fee is $175 per booking, and I can re-route it, I'll potentially go down that path and pay any fare difference.

In the (very) unlikely the flight is cheaper upon re-booking, do we get the cash already paid as credit?

I also looked into alternate options, such as booking through Flight Centre - but their change fees may be higher (I'm checking this with a contact I have there).

The change fee is per booking, not flight sector.
 
Silver and above plus points club should have received them by 8 September. Nothing here yet. WP. Points club
