It has finally gone live.

I say this as a current Source card holder (and if the OSC is to be believed, now a Platinum Coles card), but either I am missing something or this is a somewhat less than compelling offer ..

Apparently yes, although it appears that you stay on your current terms unless you 'upgrade'. The 'upgrade' seems a downgrade to me,

Probably when current source cards expire (mine is June) they will send the new one,also I wonder if this is a prelude to a link with Velocity to offer some competition to
EDR/Qantas/Woolworths?

Edited to add: I do like the idea of a joint FlyBuys/Mastercard,means one less card to carry.

Just had reason to call GE Money and was advised that the new cards are being sent out to all cardholders-the platinum card replaces the gold source card,should be in the mail
sometime in the next month according to the person I spoke to.

Just received my Source Extra Fast replacement card last month. Don't know the difference b/n the 2, but I will keep the extra fast card till it is worthwhile to change. By the way, I have been earning 1 point per dollar for the last 7 years. Probably earned at least 300k fb points via my card.

So does this mean points only earned at Coles group? Sneaky.

New enrolments (on the annual fee card) get 1 point at all retailers.

I currently get the extra 4c petrol voucher for every $30 spent at Coles on the Source card. Does anybody know if this will continue? I can't find anything about the petrol vouchers on the website, just a mention about no annual fee for Source card holders that wish to continue getting 1 point per dollar at Flybuys stores only. On a recent statement they mentioned that things would change with regards to how the vouchers worked, but they didn't expand on this.

They sent PLAT card to me today and in the terms it says You have No FEE.
The it says something about Potential $49 fee????
If it aint free it's going in the bin?

As far as I understand it, if you upgrade it, to get fly buys everywhere rather than just at Coles group stores, then you get the $49 fee.

Also the pamphlet says Complimentary Merchant protection ie. lost, stolen, broken.
But cannot find on the website PLAT features?
Other pamphlet in letter say not free?????????

Used first time today and had to teach "The Simpsons" attendant to swipe the bloody card for Flybuys....Like a dear with no eyes----->NO IDEA!
Better be the first and last cause I don't work for FREE!
Expect an email if I have to teach ever bloody attendant I come across!

Found this on the flybuys site. Looks like if you have the fee free card, you will stay on your old terms unless you upgrade to the new card.

		If you have, or previously held a Coles Group Source MasterCard and paid no annual fee, you will receive a Coles MasterCard to replace your Coles Group Source MasterCard. Once you have activated it, you will earn 1 FlyBuys point for every $1 you spend using your Coles MasterCard at FlyBuys participants, not everywhere you use your card. Exactly the same for the Qantas Everyday Rewards Credit Card at Woolworths, I have had the card for >20months and there are still customer service employees who have never seen the card...EVER...!

So both Coles & Woolworths are as useless as each other it would seem
